The launch is only 2 weeks away and we are all starting to get very excited. In the next couple of days we will be launching our website and announcing the opening act for the big launch event at the Evelyn.<\/p>\n
Northtone Records is a new Melbourne based record label focused on Pop, Indie-folk, Soul\u00a0and RnB genres. The name derives from our\u00a0humble beginnings in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, founded by a love for creating beautiful music and run in a close-knit family-esque nature.<\/p>\n
The launch event is taking place at The Evelyn Hotel, Brunswick St Fitzroy on Sunday July 12th. Doors will open at 8pm with four acts set for the stage including Northtone Record\u2019s signed artist Revival Nona, who will be showcasing her debut single\u00a0Beautiful Art<\/i>.\u00a0Revival Nona will be performing with her full band featuring two drummers; Mata Isaia and Kevin Kim, keys; Frank Johnson & bass player, Tyson Constantinou.<\/p>\n
The show has an impressive line up of supporting acts with Melbourne\u2019s emerging artists Sweeps, a jazz \/lounge 5 piece who describe themselves as “a badass band from Melbourne, entertaining your ears, eyes and daughters\u201d and Sean Marchetti,\u00a0a singer\/songwriter who expresses his music as \u201csalvation\u201d.\u00a0It was through necessity he developed the characteristic soul\/blues\/pop hybrid style that now defines his sound. We will also be announcing the opening act in the coming days, so watch out for that.<\/p>\n
Melbourne is one of the best cities in Australia for great live entertainment and this is the perfect show to demonstrate what emerging talent is all about.<\/p>\n
